Baked Shrimp Scampi

This warm dish is perfect to serve a few guests on a chilly night. The shrimp are coated in a delicious layer of egg, butter, and garlic, and then the entire dish is placed in the oven so that everything is baked evenly and to perfection. It’s also perfect for entertaining since it can be made a couple hours ahead and kept refrigerated until ready to bake. The longest part of making baked shrimp scampi is cleaning the shrimp and letting them defrost, but the recipe overall is very quick and simple. The lemons give off a tart juice that pairs well with the shrimp. This dish can either work as an appetizer for a small party or a dinner. It’s deceptively rich and filling!
