Superfood Summer Popsicles

Popsicles are a sweet treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. And with the right ingredients, they can actually be good for you! Without all of the fat and sugar in ice cream, popsicles offer a great amount of Vitamin C and antioxidants, especially these cool and simple superfood popsicles. I picked up an inexpensive popsicle mold at Cost Plus and it works perfectly. Decorating the sticks is another cute idea if you’re having a themed party like the 4th of July. Incorporating a wide range of healthy fruits can be a beneficial boost to your popsicles and your health over summer. The benefits of increased Vitamin C and antioxidants can help boost your immune system, maintain your skin’s elasticity, as well as protect your cells from free radicals. So treat yourself and your body with these easy and delicious popsicle recipes! They have only a few ingredients but a lot of flavor.

*All of the fruit mixes should be blended and then frozen until solid in popsicle molds. Use fresh fruits when possible! One tip is to place the sticks in once the fruit mixtures have set but are not completely frozen so that it sits halfway down the popsicle.
